What does ‘stepping into your power’ really mean?

What does ‘stepping into your power’ really mean?

Let it tell you what it meant for my Power House graduates.

  1. Recognising that fear of rejection is an outdated narrative that no longer needs headroom.
  2. Being seen and heard by the CEO, MD and CFO – opening big doors of opportunity.
  3. Presence – from over-apologising and saying too much to sounding like the radio presenter we all want to listen to.
  4. Taking on my  Power Leak and Authority Challenges and seeing themselves as bold, strong, visible and way more confident than they gave themselves credit for.
  5. Interrupting the interrupters with grace and elegance (super-liberating for everyone in the room).
  6. Carving out space instead of being at everyone’s beck and call – and sticking to it.
  7. Going deep – understanding how triggers, shame and guilt – not to mention The Shadow – impact our power and our leadership.
  8. Reading the room, influencing the outcomes like never before.

There is a lot more I could share.

You see, stepping into your power looks different for everyone. One person’s big challenge is another person’s easy task. And vice versa.

And you simply cannot step into your power from watching a TedTalk or going on a ‘leadership course’

But the power of being in a confidential space where nobody judges, nobody has an agenda, and everyone’s there to grow is the most powerful thing I know.
