You don’t need a textbook – you need this ✨🧠💡

You don't need a textbook - you need this

When you’re ready to uplevel or step up – you need someone by your side.

Someone who will call you out (and lift you up) when it matters.

Make sure you have that person.

Not somebody sitting there with a clipboard, nodding like a wise owl with their list of ‘ten great coaching questions.’ That’s entry-level coaching.

You’re not a tick-box exercise.

And you deserve someone who sees that.

You don’t need somebody else’s script. Only you can write the bestseller about you.

I don’t secretly have the GROW model tattooed on my arm.

It’s a good model – but honestly? You’re way more interesting than a four-step process.

I won’t sit there endlessly asking, ‘And how do you feel about that?’ (If you want someone to ask you the same question in five different ways, I’m not your gal.)

I listen to what’s being said, what’s not being said, and the spaces in between. (Sometimes, that’s where the gold lies.) Then I ask you the question you’ve never thought about before, or I’ll say the thing you actually need to hear.

Sometimes it’s gentle.

Sometimes it’s a full-on ‘come on, you know you’re better than this’ – and we can laugh and roll our eyes together.

And I don’t sit on my hands wondering, “Ooh, should I say this?” (I used to do that when I first trained as a coach back in 2001 – because I was a ‘people-pleasing nice girl’.)

The more senior you are, the less likely people are to tell you the truth. They’re too busy stroking your ego. I won’t do that.

I’m bolder now, and that makes me much more powerful and effective in serving you because I want you to find your courage, inner wisdom and confidence, too.

If I see something that will move you forward, I’ll say it.

Always with heart.

Always with care.

Always with the possibility that I might be wrong.

And you know what?

Nobody’s ever been angry or upset. They’ve been relieved.

Feeling and seeing how much lighter it is when someone finally points out the missing piece of the jigsaw and stops pussyfooting around.

Being able to lift that weight of uncertainty.

Spotting your blind spots is the first step. You deserve someone who’ll actually help you shift them – not just smile knowingly and leave you scratching your head.

And if you’re wondering – yes, I get how bloody scary it can feel to step up.

I spent years terrified – I mean really terrified – of standing out – even though part of me was desperate to.

And I know how exhausting it is to pretend you’re fine when deep down, you’re terrified you’re falling short and ‘not enough’.

You’re. not. falling. short.

You’re standing on the edge of something bigger and yes, it’s exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time.

But it’s also where the magic happens.

Coaching with me is about moving.

Changing.

Choosing.

Laughing.

It’s about

Experimenting and falling off the treadmill and getting back up again – but faster this time.

It’s about taking tiny steps forward and occasionally taking a step back – that’s not failure. It’s progress, learning, growth, wisdom.

It’s about becoming the leader – the person- you already are underneath all the noise.

Because stepping up isn’t supposed to terrify you.

It’s supposed to feel like freedom. Possibility. Choice.

If it’s time to step up, you’re probably closer to where you want to be than you think you are.

And I can’t wait to meet that version of you on the other side of fear who’s already rolling their eyes and saying, ‘Took you long enough.’

To your success always.
