Can’t decide? This might be why

In my book Leader Unlocked, I share my Core Beliefs for Unshakeable Confidence.  Belief number four is:  I make a decision and I make it work for me.

When you’re caught in a loop of indecision, it’s tempting to tell yourself you just need more time, more information, or a better plan.

Sometimes that’s true.

But sometimes you’re not stuck because you don’t know.

You’re stuck because you do. And something about that knowing scares you.

It might mean closing a door you’ve kept open ‘just in case.’
It might mean speaking a truth that changes things. (Scary?)
It might mean backing yourself without a guarantee that it’ll work out. (All those ‘but what ifs?)

And so, you delay.
You gather more information.
You ask a few more people.
You hope for a magic wand to appear and magically give you ‘the answer’.

That might work.

But often, it doesn’t – because real decisions – the ones that shift something in you – sometimes mean a bit of discomfort.

So sometimes it’s not about being 100% certain.

It’s about choosing to move even when one part of you wants to stay in the safety zone.

Because maybe that’s what you’ve always done.

But if you were to listen to the part of you that already knows,  the quieter voice under the mind chatter, I can guarantee you’d know exactly what to do.

It’s intuition and gut feeling but it’s a whole lot more than that. Knowing what you stand for when you’re grounded and in flow will give you a powerful inner wisdom you’ll never get from google, ChatGPT or your best friend.

Do you know how to find that inner wisdom?
